We are excited for you to start classes with us!
Use our Perfect Start Checklist to have a great first week experience and set yourself up for success:
- Arrive to your first class 15 minutes early. You will need to complete a waiver and have the instructor show you around.
- Arrive to all circuit classes (Core Cardio Blast, High Heat, Combat Cardio) 15 minutes early for the instructor demonstration. The class will start when it is listed on the schedule, but the demonstrations and best time to ask questions is BEFORE class. This will give you the best experience and workout!
- Bring a water bottle with you to stay hydrated during your workout. Please bring something with a cap or lid.
- Bring a small towel to cleanup as needed.
- Many clients prefer to bring their own boxing gloves for circuit classes. Community gloves are provided for your convenience. Gloves are required at all punching stations for safety.
- Let the instructor know if you have an injury or issue that will require alternatives or modifications.
- During your first week, stick with these classes: T30, Target Area Tabatas, Fat Burning Intervals, Core Cardio Blast, and Interval Express.
- If you aren’t feeling well during class, slow things down - remember, this is an interval based system and you determine the pace. The first week, your body is learning something new! The goal is to get through the entire hour!
- Take time for recovery. We do not include stretching in our 60 minute classes, you should add this in after class in the studio if time/space permits or at home. Here are some great examples for you to use:
