“We offered an opportunity for our employees to participate in a Meltdown program. The result was not only happier and healthier employees, our insurance costs went down. Our employees were appreciative to us as employers for the opportunity and the overall stress level of our team.”
- Jaimie Schwartzman, owner BuffaLouies
The main objective of any corporate wellness program should be twofold:
- Healthier employees and team members are going to be more productive, have more energy, have fewer sick days, and they will see the program as a perk of their employment.
- The company should be saving money on insurance costs.
“One of the biggest surprises I received from the Meltdown program is the money I saved on food. By gaining control of my diet, I didn’t eat out as much or buy as much food at the grocery. The total dollars saved were amazing, the program not only helped me budget my food, but also my wallet.”
- Chris Cockerham
For many companies, it is common to see a “Biggest Loser” style contest every January. There are some rewards thrown out there and at first there is probably some excitement…mainly because EVERYONE is excited about health, fitness, weight loss, etc in January…for a couple of weeks at least.
The real objective is to establish a well-rounded wellness program that keeps employees engaged year round and not just in January for a few weeks. THAT is where we come in.
Since January of 2009, our company has produced over 25,000 pounds of weight loss through group fitness, personal training, and bootcamp programs. Health, wellness, and fitness is what we are passionate about and we excel at infecting others with that same passion, which produces dramatic, long term results.
We can provide several services that will deliver a corporate wellness program that your employees will be excited about. Our goal is to produce long-term results with the health of the employees and with insurance savings for the company. One of our main objectives is to help the company save more money in insurance than what they are investing into our services. We want to get input from both your employees and your corporate leaders as we put your wellness plan together.
Here are some examples of what we can provide within a corporate wellness plan:
- Bootcamps (on site or at our facility)
- Group classes (on site or at our facility)
- Personal training (on site or at our facility)
- Nutritional planning
- Accountability coaching to make sure people are following their plan
- Workshops (on site or at our facility)
- Employee rewards systems
- Weigh ins and stat tracking for accountability
- Webinars, conference calls, and/or a newsletter system for continued education and motivation
- Online fitness classes
- Specialized programs for targeted groups of clients that carry very high insurance costs
We will be glad to do all of the program design and set up for free if you choose to use our fitness services (boot camps, classes, personal training) as part of your program. We can even do discounts for your employees with high volume corporate accounts.
“I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you that I have successfully lowered my bad cholesterol by 55 pts. and substantially raised my good cholesterol! If you remember, I wanted to do the Meltfit to help ensure that I was doing the right things so that I could avoid taking cholesterol medication. Well, it worked and I do not have to take any meds for cholesterol—I’m really happy and I wanted you to know that the good habits that I have acquired through my participation in Meltdown, Melt-fit, etc., made a major difference in this good outcome. Thank you!”
