FAQ

Q: What is the difference between the Meltdown Individual 4 week program and the Meltdown Boot Camp?

A: The easiest way to understand this is to understand the Meltdown program first and then look at the 2 options that we have available to do the Meltdown program which include the boot camp and the individual program.

Key point #1: The Meltdown program is a comprehensive package that includes group fitness classes, a nutritional program, a daily nutritional accountability system, a cardio regimen, and a weekly cardio accountability system.

Key point #2: The two most popular ways that people participate in the Meltdown program are through the 4 week individual package or the Boot Camp Package. Here are some of the key similarities and differences:

  • The basics of each package are exactly the same.
  • The cost is the same. The base cost is $250 per 4 week segment with both options. We have group discounts available for both options as well. This $250 gets you $100 in pre paid group fitness classes that you must use up during each 4 week segment that you purchase.
  • There are no set “Meltdown” or “boot camp” classes. You just need to use up your $100 in pre paid classes for each 4 week segment by selecting any of the classes listed on our schedule.
  • The Boot Camp is an 8 week commitment so the total base cost of that is $500. The individual program is just a 4 week commitment but you can do as many of these packages back to back as you would like to.
  • We only do 4 boot camps per year. We take up to 100 people for each boot camp and start them all at once. We do 2 week checkpoints during each 8 week boot camp. We give away prizes for those that are at the top of our checkpoint categories (weight lost, body fat lost, inches lost, etc).
  • With the 4 week individual package you can start on any Monday. There is no set start date like with the boot camps.

Q: Will I get better results with a Meltdown Boot Camp package or with the Meltdown 4 week individual package?

A: We have had tremendous results with both options. What we recommend that you do is to look up the next Boot Camp start date. If it is within the next 4 weeks and there is room, then do that option. If the boot camp is full or a long time away we would suggest getting started with the individual 4 week program.

Q: Can we just take group classes and not have to do the Meltdown package?

A: YES! We have group class package options listed in our “pricing” page. Our packages are all inclusive so that means you can choose from any classes on our schedule from our website.

Q: If I am on a wait list for a class how do I know that I got in?

A: If you get into a class off a wait list you will be notified by the registration system via email. It is very important that you have a valid email listed with your login account. Make sure that you check your email often on the day that you are wait listed.

Q: Who is your average client?

A: We have around 500 people in our program right now. The average person is female between the ages 35-55. We do have lots of guys in the program also. Group fitness is not just for ladies anymore! You can see lots of great before and after pics on our website. You will see men and women of all ages!

Q: Do you have a correspondence program?

A: Yes! People can do a meltdown package no matter where they live. We have the correspondence package info available on the pricing page.

Q: Do you offer personal training sessions?

A: Yes, we have a private PT room at our facility and we also make use of the Iron Pit Gym. We have both male and female trainers on staff to help you meet your fitness needs.

Q: Is your diet regimen low carb?

A: Yes and No. It is definitely lower in carbs than the average American diet. This is a good thing. The carbs are at a moderate level with lots of healthy carb choices. We ARE using a very low SUGAR diet. You will get carb options like fruits, veggies, grains, and approved breads. After the first two weeks we start incorporating cheat days where you can go off of your diet regimen and eat anything that you would like.
